Mr. Surratt practices primarily in construction law and mechanic's liens with emphasis on the litigation and arbitration of construction-related disputes. He is a frequent speaker on construction and lien laws to bar associations and various construction-related trade associations. Mr. Surratt has won a number of complex, high-stakes construction disputes for his clients and is consistently recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in Texas by the Wall Street Journal and a Texas Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters.
